West Coast W’s!

What’s that we saw? The Reds won a series! Yayyy! Time to get the brooms out for tomorrow and return to Cincinnati with a 5-2 road trip!

The Redlegs beat the Dodgers 3-2 in what might have been one of the most boring games of the season. The Reds and the Dodgers were tied 1-1 for most of the game. No one scored any runs until the 8th, when Joey Votto broke the tie with an RBI. Then came a lucky insurance run in the 9th – thank goodness, because CoCo gave up a run in the bottom of the ninth, which would have been a tying run if it weren’t for the insurance run. I would have died if I had to stay up for extra innings on the West coast.

But, the most important thing is that the Reds won and have put their “West Coast Woes” behind them! 

We’re now 2.5 games out of first place – let’s make that number even lower tomorrow!
